Whats the third plug on the ignition barrel for? It's the brown one that's only on in the on position. My estate doesn't have this plug so was wondering what it does.

It's not for the immobiliser ring is it?

    What year is the car? I've never seen that in all the 306s I've hot wired.

    phase1 has three plugs IIRC.

    It's a '97 same in my '98 6 too but not my '99 estate or '94 xrd.....
