Just seeing if anyone on here got the Moonstone HDI that was on Autotrader for £775 ?

Looked in good shape with reasonable mileage !! I called up the guy and he said it sold in a couple of hours....

nope but I have a moonstone HDI and it's quite literally the best car I've ever owned

Can't see how it doesn't.

OP, the HDi appeals to a wider audience than a GTi6, a trait it shares with the XS model too. If you need proof of this, please view this thread:

    I couldn't believe the price when I saw it! New it wouldn't hang around long...
    My brother had a phase 1 d turbo for his first car and just kept on going!

    I've been tempted to get one after sitting in Rikkys, looks as good as a '6,better right hand lock I assume and awesome on fuel,whats not to like?

    I've just fitted a fresh engine and intercooler to the f**ked moonstone hdi I bought before Christmas, it'll probably tear a low boost 6 a new arsehole, probably.... Razz

    Don't get me wrong mate, I've owned three HDi's, I drove one of them to work this morning as it happens... They are good little cars of you want some economy, however, a GTi-6 or Rallye they are not No

    I drove the Rallye on Saturday and it felt like a f**king rocketship compared to my HDi Superman

    Good examples usually sell fast I'd advertised in the right place. My mate bought a China with 92k on the clock after I bought mine he was one of many people intersted apparently and he made the bold decision to pay a deposit iver the phone before viewing. I found it odd that it was completely standard other than the door looks were removed and smoothed out? Hmm

    I drive a Diablo HDi it runs a lot better than my Rallye!
    Thats because my Rallye has no wheels
