How can I sort this? Am I reducing the length of the spring?

Ive got a mechanical rear brake compensator on my car. The cars been lowered 30mm and it seems like the brake bias is wrong and sending to much effort to the back. How can I sort this? Am I reducing the length of the spring? ________________________________________ Team Peugeot Sport 308 GtiBlack T'99 Gti - may she rest in peace - written off in a shunt on the A329m |

The reason it's wrong is it works out how much bias based on the compression of the suspension, and thus the spring. If you've lowered (and possibly gone stiffer as well), the amount the suspension and spring compress is different thus the bias will be different. In terms of fixing it, I don't know, sorry! ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

you've got a mechanical one as well as the standard rear setup?or do you mean the standard one at the back was dodgy at some point and you've put a different type on? ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |
