Hi guys, I'm looking to get my subframe seam welded and stitched, so I thought best get the old paint off. Just spoke to a guy at my local dip and strip and he thinks the paint will be enamelled on so the acid wouldn't work? Can anyone shed some light on this or am I going down the nitro mors route and doing it myself?Cheers Dave |

just sand blast off then let the welder do whatever, he'll just clean up around the seams anyway with a grinder or some other tool________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |
