Hi guys, I'm looking to get my subframe seam welded and stitched, so I thought best get the old paint off. Just spoke to a guy at my local dip and strip and he thinks the paint will be enamelled on so the acid wouldn't work? Can anyone shed some light on this or am I going down the nitro mors route and doing it myself?

Cheers

just sand blast off then let the welder do whatever, he'll just clean up around the seams anyway with a grinder or some other tool
