Does anybody have a picture of their car on standard springs with b4s fitted or can measure from the top of their cyclone to the arch please.

Cheers folks.

The strut doesn't seem to be my issue, I just took some measurements and the important lengths are the same.If someone could measure the distance between the top of the cyclone to the arch so i know how far out I am that would be a huge help.

The colours on the springs are white yellow and green.

Could they be lesser model shocks, my xsi was sat really high i swapped to -60 gti6 springs and it didn't really lower much more than a standard gti6, so i presumed it was the shocks that were different.

The shocks shouldn't change the height of the car. I will check part numbers again but I'm confident that isn't the issue.

It's only a pinch bolt. Over tightening them can knacker the hole.

I didn't massively over do it,they were adjusted today anyway. I've now had the wheel alignment done which brought the car down a touch more, however the handling is really good, the car feels tight, turn in is good and the front end is nice and compliant.

The guy at the garage who sorted the wheel alignment did mention the back end isn't right, one side is lower than the other and the back end looks low, it could well be that the rear beam is shagged and thats affecting how the front end looks?

Shocks are not right should sit lower in the hub and springs will prob come done a bit if they were new but they are second hand ? .
