I've read the Gearbox?clutch FAQ and it's grand for removal.

However, how does the spinny bit on the pressure plate sit with the clutch fork? Do I want the two indents lined up with the fork prongs? or is it opposite way round?

Have the two indents in the release bearing piece aligned with the forks. (to the left if looking at the clutch).

The odd shaped curve on the other side sits round a lump next to the box input shaft.

I had my mate push the box on and me holding the release bearing piece with a long screwdriver until the last moment, big jiggle and clunk, on she went Thumbs up

I was careful not to force anything though

Sure you figured it out by now but yes, the prongs go in to the indent. I would definitely recommend refitting when the engine is out of the car as well! Smile

Oh god yeah, tried getting them out separately, gave up, bolted them back together and then took out in one.
