Hi my manifold has arrived which I ordered from dp. It's the weldersnightmare turbo one. Had a go at bolting it on today and it doesn't clear the exhaust heat shields. I took them off and sliced a bit off for clearance but now it's hitting the chassis crossmember which runs along the bulkhead. I am hoping that when the stabiliser mount goes on it will tilt the engine more. Has anyone here experienced this problem?

So have you not got the bottom engine mount on? If so, that will push it out a fair bit.

Picture mate? Seems funny that it doesn't fit well the standard manifold is a right arse to get off /on insitue. So is your engine as Niall says just on two mounts? Bottom engine mount disconnected?

I'll post a pic in the morning I didn't take one today. I'll get subframe and lower mount on in the morning. As you can guess the subframes off at the moment and the engines just hanging on both top mounts. Theres around 1-2mm gap between the head/flange along the top studs where it isn't able to fully butt up. think its the second or third runner hitting the crossmember
