I have an issue with the fans not always working when I start the car. I've taken everything apart, checked, cleaned, refitted, changed things and now it still has intermittent issues. Damn French wiring.Revotec controller is 40 quid and it is a fit and forget ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Which one is the coolant temp switch? If I change it for the revotec item, will it affect the system. (Does the switch send a signal to anything else but the fans?)________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! I think the brown one is the fan temp controller. If you unplug the connector the fans should spin up on a working system. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

bin the ac fan system for the non ac one, say off a turbo diesel or similar, they use the two speed thermoswitch in the rad, hook up the wiring to your small fans.I'm using the rallye type arrangement on the ZX, switch cost £12, god knows how much the loom was, came off a diesel ZX in a breakers, pence! (you'll need to rob it from a 306 as the ZX one just plugs straight into the shunt box) revotec controller wont work with the ac fan system. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I've already binned the A/C and linked out the two fans to run together, infact it's only since I've done that I've had the problem. I'm changing to slimline fans to give me more room in the front for the oil cooler and possible charge cooler, so it will be a whole new cooling system, since I would be bodging in the new fans to the wiring anyway ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! I'd get a non a-c loom and start afresh then really, all you'd need to do is connect the two fans up and plug it in.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
