I know the B4 is an OEM substitute and probably cheaper than the Peugeot parts.
Has anyone tried both in good condition and have a preference?
Thanks.

I'm looking to replace both front and rear dampers, want to stay 'standard'.I know the B4 is an OEM substitute and probably cheaper than the Peugeot parts. Has anyone tried both in good condition and have a preference? Thanks. ________________________________________ Matt |

B4s with eibach and o/e rear shocks seemed to work really well on my first gti6________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. ALL AXLES BUILT USING GENUINE PEUGEOT PARTS IF I'M NOT HERE, IT ONLY MEANS ONE THING.... I'M SOMEWHERE ELSE! |

Thanks, bothPeugeot ones are £157 a pair front, £141 a pair rear, less any discount. B4s I've seen for £84 front, £77 rear, so I can see me going with B4s if the performance is very similar. Cheers ________________________________________ Matt |

Thanks all for your thoughts. This is for my 'urban warrior' - I need something compliant for the potholed grind to work so I'm looking to have it on standard height springs and standard-ish dampers.________________________________________ Matt |
