This 6 has one of those clamps installed that goes round the gearstick, and clamps it to a plate. The plate is bolted to the floor. I'm in the process of removing it however it's in with security bolts the likes of which I've never seen. Any ideas of how to remove?

They have no heads inside the car, just smooth caps.

they would have had snap off heads on the inside originally.

chop/grind or weld nuts to the bolts.
