Actually, further down that thread that axle has drums on it.

So is this beam tube from a lower spec 306? Will that cause any issues?

sorry Blush it threw me that the mounting bracket was so high up with the arms resting flat

if you fitted that axle as it's been set, it would be more 4x4 than 306

Probably 23mm bars. It will be for track use, but not sure whether to go bigger than that.

I want to lower the beam using the mounts that martin/CRF450 designed, so the geo remains standard, but depends on price.
