Basically i bought an absolute heap of an xsi, gearbox has gone been lowered poorly with wrong bolts for bottom arms ( passenger side actually popped out of the hub when loweted of the jack!!  )So because of the similarities in price was going to put the gti6 setup in. Interested in any parts for sale preferably near south yorkshire. Cheers |

Considering the shocking condition of the XSi, wouldn't you be better just buying a GTi? They are incredibly cheap now; I can't see how it'd be worth the hassle of an engine swap into an already-abused shell... |

shells not bad really, its just the gearbox an front sus. I have toyed with just gettin a gti 6 but the engine and box are already out of the car. Plus i do enjoy a good timker  |
