Not sure if that's what it's called.....

Ordered a new one from pug as my old one was worn, when I ordered it I asked about the 2 top hat Bush's, today I got round to picking the items up 😊

However the new arm came with some plastic bush's fitted as shown in the right hand pic

I tried the centre tube bearing (shown in the left picture) into the new top hat bushs but its too wide so won't fit however it does fit in the new arm with the plastic bush's that came fitted to the arm

Do Peugeot do two types of arms?

If they do I'm still confused as the old tube doesn't fit in the new top hats ?!?

I know about extending the arm, so if its a redesigned arm how do you assemble it? And how come the diagram on peugeots computer showed these bush's.... is there a new thinner outer diameter sleeve/tube for theses bushs?

Yes iv tried fitting it, defo need the tube but with the tube inside the plastic bush's there is still loads of play so I'm guessing it's not right

Pugheaven, how have you solved the problem? Currently going through the same s**t. Bought two of those brass-like metal bushes and the inner diameter is too small to fit the tube. Will buy a new arm and a new tube and hope it will fit with the right amount of play.

You must have a phase 2 as Service Box shows the arm not available but is for the phase 3 which are different part numbers with different dimensions shown for the tube.

Must be an improvement of some kind.

The pivot arm with the rubber ball on it is available and there are no differences between the phases according to Service Box.

My phase 2 gives part numbers different from those quoted when I use my VIN so are different.
