Hi gents

My car came with 1 bloody bucket seat, albeit a nice one! So ive bought 2 more and it transpires the bracket in the drivers side is a sparco one. I've looked high and low but can't find another anywhere?! Does anyone know of any at all? Or is there a better/newer version? (The demon tweeks one looks totally different and can't see how it would even fit...)

I'm looking for one like this:

If it is for the passenger side you can just put a fixed one since you won't need to slide. I'm assuming you have no rear seats though?

Yeah it is for the passenger side so worst case I'll get a fixed one. I've bought one from demon tweeks that is supposedly a sparco tailored subframe. I'll see what turns up and report back...

£66 not sure if that's expensive or not tbh, didn't seem that bad?

Was the one you bought from Demon Tweeks the same as the one in the pics in the link?

I'm looking for a solution to put leather Recaros in my car (from a Ford Puma Millenium) and have hacked about a 306 subframe, which will work but I want to get the seat lower and the Sparco subframe looked good. Also, how do seatbelts work with the Sparco subframes? Can you attach the original factory piece with pretensioner or do you have to attach seat belt mounts directly to the transmission tunnel?

Just use a seatbelt buckle from the rear seats

Hi there

Yep it is identical to the one in the pic but took 24days to come!

I didn't want to do the rear buckle route so mounted the pre tensioners directly to the seat frame. Interestingly the previous seat was a recaro and the previous owner had welded a bracket to the sub frame which in turn had the pre tensioner bolted to it. The only downside there was it didn't move with the seat...

Thanks, sounds like it might well be a viable route for me.

Sorry, one more question, how high above the floor is the subframe's mounting surface for the seat, especially at the back? I can use this measurement to see if I am going to gain headroom (my main reason for doing it).

I'll take a measurement for you tomorrow but I'd doubt it's any lower than standard tbh
