Hi gents

I'm utterly gutted, Off to a flyer with the 306, managed to clip a storm drain at 40mph whilst avoiding a dog down a local lane and I've ruined a new tyre and Speedline Turini :-(

I've managed to source a new wheel but given how stuff my car is (rose jointed, roller bearings etc) am I likely to have bent anything? (Are there any known weak points?)

It all looks ok and it didn't vibrate on the return home (tyre didn't loose pressure, just a huge chunk from the sidewall)

Is there anything I should be looking for?

Thanks

Chris

pulls straight? Doesn't wander? If so, your probably fine but id still jack it up and have a look under it for anything obvious like cracks or bends

Well I'll be able to qualify it better with the new wheel on but no it didn't seem to pull or wander, where do people tend to jack from, mine has clearly been squashed by poor jacking locations in the past...

Jack it on the jacking point by the sideskirt.

Do not attempt to drive off with jack still in place.

Seriously though, my car has various dents from being jacked up incorrectly, so stick to the proper points and you will be fine.

Yeah as does mine, and they are rusting now so need to treat it all!

Still attempting to identify the discs while I'm at it, concluded on c4 vts 2.0 discs as a starter.
