First thing I did was to whip off the aux belt and start the engine just to make sure it's not the cam belt tensioner.
So after deciding it's not that, I looked into the steering pump which seems fine, the alternator seems fine, the auto tensioner does not sound perfect. Bit like an old roller skate wheel but ok ish. Tensioner bearings on the charger bracket seem ok.
This leads me to think it's the charger. Now you cant spin this fast by hand and the squeaking seems quite loud from that area.
Is there anything I could try with it I.e wd40 behind the pulley or some oil. I thought the traction fluid lubricated the charger pulley bearing?
Or should I try changing belt tensioners and stuff first. Process of elimination etc?
