About £2.5k short, give or take.

Mine comes with twice the new parts, twice the shinys, proper wheels, proper bonnet, low mileage, a bigger supercharger set up, a lot more Restoration work carried Out and a proper private plate for less money.

To the right person your probably not miles away imo, It's just finding that right person that wants your exact spec of a car so they'd save money over building it themselves.

What is the actual spec of yours Stan? I only know your superhigh boost and IIRC have the 330mm brakes. I assume you have a diff but havnt a clue what suspension, rear beam etc that your running. People will want/need to know all the info before they express interest (genuine interest anyway)

I think you should keep it and use it personally but that's upto you. As above though if your just going to leave it in the garage you may aswell just get rid of it to the highest offer even if it is a bit lower than you'd like.

Why not advertise the car for what you want for it? No interest, then oh well.

Websites like pistonheads seem to like writing articles about the particularly mental cars that come up for sale, perhaps pitch it to them? If you got a bit of publicity and it was featured somewhere you might drum up a bit of interest.

I think you owe it to us for actually making this thread and therefore grabbing our attention
To explain the reasoning behind chucking it in the garage and doing nothing with it while it sitting there and you roll it backwards and forwards lying to yourself that it will be driven again. I mean where is the sense in that honestly? Let it be used by someone who wants it and enjoys it rather than letting it sit there. I think you are pricing it out of the market as your obviously reluctant to lose money on it but thats the farce of the whole thing. The money is gone, the car will never be worth more than it is now and that is at a push £5750. Realistically that figure will mothball downwards as to be honest if im sat here with money in my hand and i'm buying a car, i want one thats actually been driven not rolled about a bit. Regardless of what you might want to think its not substitute to being actually driven for most buyers.
Like i said, there are two options here, sell it for what its worth, or break it and get back more of your money.

Option three is nonsensical, it is sat there dropping in value right now both because its a mad spec 306 with a obscenely narrow potential buyer audience and because its just not used.
I mean ffs, I can get a R32GTR with no mods and its fully original for less money than you want for that, the massive difference is the GTR is an investment as next year its 25 years old and americans can finally import one, that, and its a GTR. It has racing heritage and pedigree.

No can do on the barbecue I'm afraid, I only have a narrow side gate and there's no way Stan's shirt would fit through.

Stan can go in sideways, he's only 6mm thick.

Plus he's still uncomfortably keen on the idea :-)
