hi everybody ,thought this was a good time to become member as layed up feeling sorry for myself after falling 13 foot from ladder and smashing my right lower leg in 3 separate place , so have plenty of time to tell about my 306 rallye project ,wich is on going ,bourght T520KBA of a mate ,it was a low mileage 306 rallye ,to be quiet honest was to good to turn into track car but needed something to play about with after getting rid of my group A escort cosworth

Ouch! Bad luck with the ladder! Pictures of Car (and injury Wink) to get the thread rolling?

Rallye is a good starting point for a track car.

so far thi is what ive done to it ,all seats and sound deadening and unecessarys removed ,lexan side and rear screen fitted ,group A tarmac bilsteins allround , OMP cage and door bars fitted with extra rear cage work , PTS tubular wishbones , adjustable top mounts , competition engine mounts , 5 speed C/R gearbox 4.4 CWP ,tranx plate diff ,fully aeroquipped ,carbon seats ,6 point belts ,tank guard ,flocked dash ,carbon door cards and quarters ,will add photos and more speck of car as going along

carbon door panel , doors have been fully chopped out ,and will be making carbon outer skin shortly to remove more weight

car runs on speedline alloys as in picture ,also C5 wheels and compomotive , it uses Dunlop cr311 all round x22 on rear as give great grip and is only getting dragged round,and Michelin wet for when raining ,all 15" as find can get heat in tyres quicker

will be making carbon bonnet and carbon front panel shortly ,as can make moulds at home why I am unable to work ,and possibly carbon wings , as trying to get as much weight out of here as possible first

Looks a good project. I'll keep an eye on this.
I expect you may get a lot of interest if you can do carbon bits. Could be a good little money spinner

engine bay , engine has only been fitted with filter and Ashley exhaust full competition manifold back exhaust , they were given car to make system and sounds sweet ,will be modifying engine at later date

TRYING TO GET TIME IS THE TROUBLE AS AM ALLWAYS MAD BUSY IN WORK AND THIS LEG HAS SET ME RIGHT BACK , HAVE BEEN DOING A LOAD OF CARBON FOR CUSTOMER CAR WICH AM REBUILDING , WICH IS A SUPERCHARGED ZETEC ,IN A CATERHAM TYPE CAR , WILL ADD PHOTO OF SOME OF THAT WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING
