What difference would this give over standard? Just better throttle response?

Yes, noticeably better throttle response. Also it is less restrictive to air flow at full throttle (they even removed half of the spindle).

Would be handy for my inlet this. Handed my TB in about 6 weeks ago to get done and still waiting!

Can this be run on standard management then? Presume it needs mapping in to realise full potential?

Yes it can be ran on standard management, no need for a remap just less restrictive and allows better air flow into the inlet

Works fine on standard ECU as it uses MAP sensor as the main load sensor (with an aftermarket ECU you normally use throttle position for load - in which case you have to re-map).
