Anyone got one for a standard gti 6 engine? Or even better one on 48mm itbs and a maniflow manifold running on 36-1 trigger wheel?!________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Not yet but got sick of waiting for engine builders to do stuff so am buying a standard engine, can't decide whether to run it on standard ecu which will involve clutch/flywheel/gearbox changes or to run it on my DTA, itbs and my trigger disc which will involve getting it mapped properly... Unless anyone know how easy it is to convert a standard flywheel to a twin plate 7 1/4" race clutch? ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Pretty easy if you're a machinist not sure who made that one, but its an SB engine in Colins car. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Aye I've seen them done before but wasn't sure its a great idea! Is that one above an iron flywheel? Wouldn't fancy revving that too much, have heard of them shattering at higher rpm when they've been lightened! Want to use it with my dog box but its got different spline sizes and my current flywheel has no timing teeth on it. I can get a clutch plate to fit but there £150+ and I'm weighing that up against just using a standard engine on ITB's and a trigger wheel on my DTA but thats gonna cost £300ish to get mapped. With the standard ecu I'm going to have to sort out the fuelling as well as its currently running 5 bar fuel pressure so would have to get it mapped anyway at that.... ho hum. never easy and all that. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

No idea what its made of but its revved to nearly 9k, standard Turbo Diesel crank, its only 5.5" afaik standard flywheels are steel, just not a billet. TTV do a standard trigger wheel type flywheel for the 7.25" clutches. fuel pressure is easy to fix, just bung a standard reg in there. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Yeah, but then I have to buy hoses and stuff to bypass the current reg and match up to the standard fuel rail, little things I know but more time and expense! Plus its using a maniflow manifold regardless and I'm not 100% sure it won't run a bit lean with that on it... ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |
