The rear backing plates on my Rallye are completely shot, are these needed as they were not on my HDI?

Not vital, but are still available from main dealer.

They're called disc protectors

The bolts on mine looked terrible and I was surprised how easily they came out.
Soaked In Plusgas then hammered the torx bit into the rusty head and voila. Smile

Yeah its going to be pain to take them off but im sure they will come off eventually haha
