I've heard about peopke doing it on wet track days for some reason, not sure on the reason or technical details

I'm no expert but i think its normal practice to increase the spring rate a bit if you decide to go without the arb.
I'm sure Phillipm has mentioned the benefits and drawbacks of doing it on here years ago, and think that's how he ran his 306.

It's a but soft without, but it helps grip out of tight turns. Not ideal, maybe reduce to a base spec one instead

I'm running without drop links at the moment as mine had to be cut out when getting the strut out, fitting new ones this week. Handling isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Grip out of low speed corners slightly higher but I'd say the disadvantages of increased weight transfer far outweigh that. Can lead to understeer and at higher speeds destabilise the car.

Ought to add my suspension is completely standard.
