I've only ever seen people do it to track cars and from what I can remember they've mostly just converted to manual and binned the door looms entirely.Depending on how much you want to play with the wiring you could move them to the switch panel down to the right of the steering wheel, where the dash lights dimmer is and the headlamp aim adjuster is? ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

I cant have manual as the cage is in the way, I did think about extending the looms and having the switchs in the dash but im not sure if it can be done before the door plug or if It would have to be extended from inside the door and then back to the inside of the car I was wondering if I used phase 1 arm rests/handles from the phase 1 door cards and then putting the switchs in them somehow |

Could you not just cut a hole for the switch panel in the CF next to the door handle? Granted it wouldn't look great but at least it would be easily accessible.________________________________________ Just Drive It |

I think the unit would be too deep and get in the way of the window going up and down |

Does a 6 have one of those as standard? Dont know much about electric windows as have never owned a car with them ________________________________________ Just Drive It |

Just get them re-wired to the centre console via a nice metal flicky switch. Would look cool ________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

Iv thought of that already but would need to sort out how the wires get from the door back into the car as I would assume I would need some kind of flexible ducting like the door already has to protect the wires when I open and close the doors |

Trace the wiring back inside the car, after all thats where its comes from. Then connect up the normal switch.Or get some universal electric window switches and either fashon a mounting pod for them or mount them in the carbon. Few years ago some universal window kits came with a universal switch pod thing. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |
