Morning All, just wondered if anybody could give any thoughts on weather this is a good price or not - appreciate without all the photos you will be unable to say concrete but I have asked a local body shop to price this up:

Tidy up of bonett as paints pealing on front lip and there's splodges all over where it wasn't done right before.

Passengers door lock popping out and smoothing over (after someone rammed a screw driver in there)

Front bumper patching up and respraying as it's flakey. (you will have maybe seen the pics of my bumper)

Rust on the rear corner near the Peugeot text.. (right on the panel line to the left of the Peugeot text on the rear end of the car seems to be a thin line of rush about 2 inch long)...

The garage have come back advising:
£400-£450 and that's everything even taking the dent out of rear passenger quarter as well

What are peoples thoughts?

I hope so because its flaking at the front lip fully off and you can see splodges all over the bonnet where the spray gun was too close when it was done before so I asked them to tidy it all up.

Cool - I dont have the cash yet as they are doing my alloys today and checking the engine mounts. So if they do a good job of the alloys I'll get back for the rest next month.

In my opinion it'd be worth looking into just buy a good-condition 2nd hand bonnet and bumper.

^ I wouldn't do that as if your fussy like me you would apreciate it all being blown over and looking fresh

It'll definitely be better with fresh paint but OP did mention he doesn't have the cash and it would be a cheaper alternative whilst still being perfectly acceptable.

This is the debadged bonnet I only got a few months back and want to keep this one really. I do have my old badged bonnet and grille still but that has a giant c*ck scratched in it haha.

I can live with the bonnet as it is until I have the cash just wanted to check prices Smile Thanks though all.

Interested to see what the end result looks like on a black example - the door lock especially.

Wont be getting it done till next month or the month after but will let you know. I just think it will be easier and cheaper to pop it out and smooth it over as the key lock itself is pooped from the screw driver. Central locking still works though.

as I am guessing the other option would be to get a full set of new barrels which I cant be bothered with.
