well i fort it was time i did a project thread

Im no mechanic by any stretch of the imagination so any comment will be appreciated.
im doing the car for abit of fun really the od track day (when i finally get round to it) and will be taking the car out for a spin every weekend over the summer, i got this rallye about a year an a half ago after loving my first experience with them but wanted a black one. so i picked it up for £500, a none runner apparently locked ecu in the end was transponder issues but when i got it running the engine wasn't right ( hunting and no power)

so this when i started spending money on it and still spending a fortune now so i had another engine in the garage so i purchased a richw fly wheel, head gasket and solid bottom pully. sent my engine of to be checked out asi had removed it from my previous rallye for not running right. came back having new piston rings changed the crank new valve stem oil seals ect.

so got it fitted but had more running issues in the end took it over to stan. was great to meet someone off here and after a good few hours he got it running, was leaking fuel out the pressure regulator but so slightly it was hard to see

so now its running i have new td pro race 2s
bilstien b8s on front an b6s on rear
fully stripped interior apart from dash
i have painted the front calipers but waiting for something better to come up at the right time
lower an up strut brace
next is the rear beam and the exhaust is a little loud with no interior sounds amazing out side

il try keep the pics coming but im normaly on my phone an cant upload the pics

I have two brass woodscrews holding my rear bumper to the arch liner. Its perfect for the job.

Not into the washer bottle though....

picked up a new rear beam with 23.5mm bars and hybrid arb this morning

Any handy tips for putting it together I have looked at the FAQ on beam rebuilding.

Also removed my old beam yesterday an will be giving the under side abit of a clean up at the back
