Wanted a cheap runaround so decided to buy an 850 T5 estate this evening.

It's a bloody shed, and needs a bit of work but should hopefully be a functional workhorse until the summer.

I'll give you all a laugh with some pictures tomorrow. It's got some very stylish Limo tints which I think will have to go.

Anyone had one or not much about them?

2.3 petrol turbo. I don't expect it will be very good on fuel, but that doesn't really bother me to be honest.

have a look on the T5D5 forum.

I know Adam's old Volvo only too well. Partially as I nearly ended up stuck to his tow bar and he nearly melted my bumper with his anti social exhaust LOL

Couple of bits to do to it to begin with - there's an oil leak at the back of the engine which I hope is just the turbo oil return line to the block. I'll clean that off and pin point it.

Handbrake doesn't work so will see if there's any shoe adjustment available, if not replace those.

I've only been using it for short journeys and would be lucky to see half that I'd imagine LOL

Here's the shed towing it's predecessor.

No front end on it, and the rear axle is all unbolted and the shell just sat on it in order to remain on the trailer when the forklift raises it off the trailer the other end Thumbs up
