Have you tried the fuel cut-off switch in the engine bay behind the battery?

It's a red button, which may need pressing to reset the system. Yes
This will stop the fuel pump running too.

Fuel pump relay, if it was the immobiliser it would prime the fuel pump but not allow spark. The relay is bolted to the back of the ecu box behind the battery, take it off and give it a smack. I had the exact problem after my car had been stored for about 18 month......Thumbs up

To check this, remove the relay and then bridge pins 5 and 8 on the loom multiplug, you should hear the fuel pump prime. Yes

Sorry, I can see this is an old post but I’m having issues with mine and I’ve changed the relay and also bridged the wires and the fuel pump then turns on. But I refit the relay and it won’t prime. It’s a brand new relay and I tested it anyway and it seems to work as it should.

Any ideas on the next steps?

If its not priming and you've changed the relay on the back of the ECU Casing
Then it could be the pump it's self,.. Hmm

He says if he bridges the relay then the pump primes...it sounds like you may have a dodgy relay even though it's apparantly new.
