Up for grabs is my Powerflow exhaust. Only reason for sale/swap is the need of a standard or similarly quiet system because I'll be using the Rallye for some longer trips over the next couple of months.

Ignore the sealant stuff on the joints, that was when it was previously fitted. There are no leaks or Crack or welding done.

Sports cat, mid section with silencer and a nearly new Powerflow back box. This is less than 100 miles old.

Sporty note, burbles away nicely on idle.

I am ideally after a vgc standard system to get noise levels down at motorway speeds.

I have reciepts here for £470 in total.
Swap for standard system and £30 my way.

Did ya know ya shouldnt use exhaust assembly paste on the CAT ie flowing into as on compression of fitting together the paste does what it does on the outside and excess needs removing but the inside will only have one thing to do and f**k the inside of the cat up ie block it up!

On the exit side it dont matter as only going through the system which is why you usually have a gasket for the cat entry side.

Yup has been pointed out many times Smile the pics underneath were taken about 6 months ago or so. It has since been removed, cleaned up and refitted by Powerflow.

The back box was brand new in late Dec 13, £224 receipt just for that. Forgot to mention I have a decat pipe to go with it.

What's the going rate for a decent o.e system these days?

Roughly 8hours drive! The rallye isn't a daily so i can always remove the exhaust and post it. No issues there.

I have a standard system on my car, which is far too quiet for me. I bought the Gti6 last September from Scott (in Crowborough) on the Forum. Looking underneath, the exhaust is all still silver up to the cat, cat up to the manifold looks older. Got an MOT just before Christmas so it's all good.
I'm in West Byfleet, Surrey.
