Imho, hybrids don't work efficiently, especially with the o/e rubber mounts

good point, i noticed the back end would jump about a bit, almost as if the road wheels were oval, solid mounts cured it

Really? I have to get solids to cure it? ..... actually come to think of it ...

I have a standard arb in!!!!

The axle I took off the car has the hybrid in it

I have hurd mixed opinions so not sure if I should bother or not? Maybe I could try and see for myself to be honest.
What size are the hybrid arbs compared to standard?

Nice bit of kit. Vented discs is a bit OTT on a 306 though isnt it!

LOL

So I take it you're eyes aren't quite good enough to spot the t-bars and dampers also being mentioned?
I said the whole set-up feels too soft and under-damped and I'm still missing the part where I'm slagging off the hybrid ARB. In post 21, the arb isn't even mentioned and I'm talking to a lad who doesn't run one..... so where have I slagged it off?

Strange that you've taken quotes and still haven't managed to take it in.

Well its the impression I was getting. If its to soft and you've got a hybrid arb in your other beam wack it in and let us know what you think.

Nope, was referring to the whole set-up. I'll drop a new engine in then do the arb. At this point in time, I'm thinking its the dampers

I felt there was to much roll after lowering so I opted for the hybrid arb when I rebuilt it. Much less roll and a little stiffer which felt good. Then moved away from the weitec dampers I had on with my coilovers to stiffer zx volcane b4's and felt better still. Then went for solid mounts which was another improvement but cant help but think I need those 21mm torsion to balance out the stiffness in the dampers.
