No i wouldn't either but making the properly isn't hard if you have the right tooling. Ive made them for my RX8 seats and they are very secure..more so than the standard seats!

A welder fixes most things! Mine are all welded up and are spot on even with me throwing my 15 stone in them every time i use the bloody car lol.

Imagine if you went hard round a corner and your seat snapped off the mounts... i wouldnt know wether to s**t myself of laugh if that happened to me LOL

Nah, my subframes are made from 4mm steel and believe me, they won't budge lol. The bolts holding them in however is a different matter LOL
