Ecu is unlocked, in my understanding. The key pad was no longer required to start the car. |

On the off chance do any of these markings or figures shed any light on to what these are. I fitted them to a engine which afterwards started tapping badly. Not sure if it was down to the cams or a issue with the way they were timed ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

Cheers did see you quote that 10.9. In another thread. So do I need longer valves and piston cut out for these ? Or they not worth the hassle ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

those are just casting marks, if there are any specific marks they will be on the end under the pulleys.if there are none then you need to measure the cam, a dial gauge and a degree wheel and a set of vee blocks or a bare head is needed. if you go beyond the 10.9 you need different springs, not valves. most likely they will have much more lift at tdc than a modified standard piston will take, given most mild cams are under 2mm lift and 10.8 peak, so you'll need aftermarket pistons too. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I have cams with markings under the pulleys, another set with the markings on the other end, and a set with the markings etched onto the flat on the non drive end, so look carefully! You could send them to Newman cams or similar, they can stick them through a simulation and advise on the best timing for them etc and give you specific detail of the duration etc. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |
