Well since I'm moving on from the 306 scene, here is a newer car to get my mitts on.

1.9 T4 2001 Volvo V40 at 200bhp Wink

She is bloody quick, and quite juicy... Guess I'll have to learn how to drive her economically. Like a 'Grandad I suppose'. Smile

I thought you were selling the Rallye first, before buying the Volvo?

I was, but this came up at a reasonable price and I partially swapped the Dturbo for it haha.

Couldn't resist. Naughty really

That looks just awful. Is a 2 tonne Volvo with 200bhp any faster than a Rallye?

Not my bag at all but best of luck with it!

143bhp/tonne so on paper yes but the 6 is down as weighing 1225kg iirc which i don't think is true as mine didn't weigh anywhere near that with full interior and a quarter tank of fuel. So in the real world i would say the ovlov is not as quick as a standard 6/rallye.

    Cue the arguments LOL

In all honesty, it feels faster than the 6'. Great fun to drive and so comfortable. Turning into a right old man lol!
Everyone has their tastes, this has grown on me somewhat! Don't miss the Rallye at all....

The ex wife had one when they were new and i got sick of the fuel consumption and tyre wear but are quite quick for an old mans car.....

Changed hers for a Subaru Legacy quad cam turbo that was just mental as it was as fast but if driven correctly returned good mpg.
