Good evening all.
I have recently acquired a '99 306 Rallye, and thought I'd share it with the rallye enthusiast.
This car has been owned for the past 10years by my business partner and has cover less than 85000 miles.
I remember him getting this car as a mint example, with 53,000 miles on the clock back in 2003. but slowly over the years it had dulled to a very sorry state. And finally parked up and neglected when the heater matrix failed over a year ago.
This weekend we done a deal on a v6 4motion bora, and he threw the rallye in for the best price
So the plan is to get it back to the standard it was in when I first saw it all those years ago.
I had made a list of parts needed and it's mainly small stuff that breaks through wear and tear. Interior light, mirror cover, bits like that. it needs a full respray, which is being done this week. Heater matrix and there's a power steering problem, burst pipe or some such thing. Not a great deal, and when done will be back in its prime!
