Welcome and great work saving it. Bargain price, too. These cars are a bit under-appreciated given the brilliant driving experience they offer. The project threads on here helped me a lot when working on my car. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

The whole front suspension was shot, I've replaced every thing but the steering rack, I had a 205 1.6 gti years ago and I remember when the 6 came out allways wanted to see what they were like let's just say not disappointed as much as I like my xr2 it just doesn't give the buzz the 6 gives me I've done 6000 miles and 4 trips to the mainland with it and its never let me down I've even found a set of standard alloy I'm going to fit them this weekend £40 at the brackers yard ________________________________________ 306 gti 6Mk1 xr2 |

The car's okay but the ~3 billion year old gneiss under its tyres is okayer. Really need to get to Lewis one day and bring a chunk home.Assume you have a plethora of traffic-free, twisty roads up there to enjoy the 6 on? Lucky you. |

Assume you have a plethora of traffic-free, twisty roads up there to enjoy the 6 on? Lucky you. The 6 was just built for the roads up here The handling and the mid range torque means it can keep up with a lot more modern machinery or the younger generation up hear can't drive ________________________________________ 306 gti 6Mk1 xr2 |
