What do you lot use to tow your track car or anything else you tow? Looking to buy a new car and a trailer to get the 205 around next year. In no hurry at the minute but looking for something thats going to be half decent on fuel, big/estate to fit spare wheels ect... in and good every day car. Out of that list and you not wanting to spend loads I'd go with a 406 hdi myself. They seem reliable and are cheap enough to buy and maintain.________________________________________ Ryan |

Seen a few volvos pop up cheap lately, not sure a 406 will be the best for a tow car with it being a bit under powered and weighted but certainly looks the best I would say out of the above.________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

As adam says, volvo for a tow car.A 205 on a trailer will be heavier than you think, atleast 1500kg IMO and thats over weight for a 406 IIRC. |

I quite like the volvos to be honest, seem to be more reliable than the fords as well. I know a few lads with mondeo diesels and alot of them have had fueling problems. Feel like I am getting old looking at volvos ![]() ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

i'm looking at getting a V70 D5 as a tow car. a 406 V6/HDi was being considered but as people have already said the difference between the towing weights is 300kg.________________________________________ 306 2.1 S16 Tarmac Rally CarProject thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=143956 |

The only one I know of is the 2.0 diesel does in injectors. The 2.2 however doesn't suffer with this issue! ![]() ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! My Budget track engine build thread!
