I think i know the answer to this but can i put a different air filter on my low boost??

I have a bmc cda knocking about from before i went charged and i really miss the roar it made. Can i put it on rather than the k&n one that come's with the kit or would the charger suck it to bits and blow it's self up??Dunno

The bmc's are rated for air flow so I'd say you would want a bigger one than would usually be on a 6 to not end up strangling the engine on a charged one.

I know when I first bought my v6 it had a 2000cc size one and the difference when I changed it was very noticeable.

Yeah, Ryan has a good point here.

Changing it is fine, but make sure you don't reduce the air-flow availability in doing so.
