Gearbox, I genuinely think the best oil for it is the genuine stuff. Its has a hole bunch of additives specific to the synchos etc I believe? Engine wise, We can all bicker about standard vs fully synthetic, personally i prefer to use fully synthetic as its lasts longer (although i change it at the same interval its piece of mind). Also you can use say 5-40 and have the protection for cold starts (Where your engine wears most) BHP wise. Thats all rubbish, you'll never see 1HP and if you so it is probably just down to variation ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

The only back to back I've seen in controlled conditions was a switch to millers nanodrive in both the gearbox, diffs and engine all at once, which picked up about 2% (although it peaked a little higher around max torque).Given the dyno variation on that was over 1% anyway, it might not even have been that. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. It may act like a light fly wheel where it may not increase overall horse power but it makes the revs flow and rise more smoothly etc, any strain or restrictions on the turning of the engine like very thick oil will reduce performace or longevity. It may not show up in the numbers but like many things in life every little helps. ________________________________________ Pug fee`ver,Pick a Bogey, buy a Pug.
