Fancy a deal with an older 911 targa 3.2 (1989)? Full mot, excellent near mint condition, basically just needs some tax and enjoy.

I can't do another car without shifting one,

Carl

I just like to point out that I am very interested in this car so done some research on it, I remembered it was featured in Performance GTi mag (French Car Mag), being sad I still have them all and after a bit of digging I found it July/August 2003. It was the same owner then as it is now, I was looking to mainly see what suspension etc it has. So Im not just out to spoil someones for sale thread.

The question I now have is about the mileage? The feature clearly says the base car was bought for £4500 with 100k miles? so how is it done 35k miles now?

Suspension wise it looks fairly basic with just springs and dampers, unless lots has changed since then? Brakes just look like AP brakes up front.

Just to be clear Im still very interested but not at the price advertised as its a lot for just a maxi kitted shell.

If a more realistic price would be considered then Im all ears.

I would take anything that the feature says with a pinch of salt, my Dimma was in max power and it claimed it was a 8v xsi when clearly in the photo it shows an s16 lump, they also got the brake disc size wrong as well as a few other little bits!!

May I ask how the tvr spiders are fitted... Big spacers or has it been wide tracked at the rear then spacers/adaptors?

yeah sometimes but not always

the whees are on spacers I know this much, cause after seeing in in the mag I had some spacers by Dimma for my wide arch 206 that I had at the time and then fitted the same TVR wheels to that!

Don't think you can get the steel ones any more, only fibreglass from the link above.

Tvr spiders that are made of cheese apparently, the panels were up for sale at £1000 each so 4k just for the 4 archs then you still need skirts and bumpers

the TVR wheels were well cheap new and I didn't think the were that bad! never bent any of mine!
yeah not cheap for the 4 acrhes, I was told by someone else that this car was for sale for £9500 with the 4 arches included!

more tempting if it was but still a lot of money!
