Lol... I did think about it andy...but used it to go to leeds this week and back... warp factor on the motorway = smiles ear to ear. Got some work to do it to tidy her up so thinking about a high boost mapping as its only mapped to .8 bar at mo and will run 1.2 happily. Needs the interior plastics to dash sorted and possibly a beam rebuild just so its one of the things that will need doing someday done now. Done 1k in it this year 300 miles last year 50 of that jousting a db9 from shrewsbury to wrexham... he pulled me up in a layby as he couldn't believe he couldnt lose me below 120.... on private roads obviously... blowing manifold makes mine unsellable at mo. Just had an offer on my rallye which I have accepted pending insurance cost on monday... so if it doesnt sell rallye and cash??? Lol.

Ideally mate, it's a '99 on gti6 I'd like, or very clean 205 gti.

Have seen dans gti, but ideally wanted pre '91.

I know! I'm a fussy f**ker

With your skills and experience Andy Dans 205 is a genuine 4k to 5k car with a bit of work on it imo. I am saying it publically as I genuinely cant have any more non everyday cars due to space and time.

tbh andy, although it looks a cracking car, and needing very little work, i believe the cat cars don't have as much bhp.

i do miss my old red gti. by far the best colour as long as there is no paint fade

of course they don't, they're 122 bhp, not 128bhp, as the stats always have said Razz

nope.

there's a few different cat engines, you're probably thinking of the low comp 105 engine in the auto's and the cti's, but they had ally intakes too, the plastic one is pretty rare.
