Hello... I've done a few bits to the track car now. High lift inlet cam, induction kit, De-cat, full after market exhaust and lightened fly & pulley. Just wondering is it worth getting a remap? I've never had a remap so haven't got a clue about it? Also does anyone know anyone in the southeast, Kent area that are any good? Cheers________________________________________ Wanted list... You say high lift inlet cam? Which cam is it? Why not change the exhaust cam also? ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

It cost me £30 but he only had inlet, opinions on here suggested that would be fine to do. Can't remember exactly, think it's pipercross fast road. 270? I'll double check when I get in...________________________________________ Wanted list... (P.m me if you have any)Rollcage. Strut Braces. Wayne Schofield is the best person to map the standard ECU, but he's based in Warrington, Cheshire. Well worth the trip though. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Jesus, that's 4 hours 7 mins away! There's no way I could travel that far for a remap. It would break my back in that thing! Lol. There must be someone more local that could do it?________________________________________ Wanted list... (P.m me if you have any)Rollcage. Strut Braces. as far as I know yep, or at least with a good rep and knowledge of the pug engine as well as the MM1AP10 ecu.martin fox at mef motorsport can do you a plug and play DTA ecu that could use your original ecu, save a bit on the loom. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

In lakeside, was a couple of years ago now That would be handy if they could as i need the daily cupra diesel remapped as well and there only 20 mins away! What's the difference in a remap/ chipped ecu? (Apart from the obvious chip being a physical addition to the ecu)? ________________________________________ Wanted list... you have to "chip" a standard ecu before you can map it, the main reason it costs a bit more with the MM1ap ecu is that it needs socketing and a new chip installing, subsequent maps will cost less.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

So I need to know if they will chip it and put a custom map on it or whether they just stick a generic chip in the ecu and that's it? Excuse the dumbness I've never had or looked into remapping before.________________________________________ Wanted list... (P.m me if you have any)Rollcage. Strut Braces. Be careful with AMD. Friends in the ford world which is a lot of their work have had issues. Friends ST had a remap there, rolled it a week later at a RR day and it had to be aborted due to overfueling terribly. They did admit the mistake but not really the point. |
