Hi guys, what actually is it that causes this problem, valves, lifters, rocker arms ? I see it mentioned from time to time , but curious as to what causes it.cheers ________________________________________ Bianca 306 Rallye.Mondeo Titanium X. |

Moved to Engines.  The reason has been listed before many a time. Essentially, there are valves which are ever so slightly bent and therefore the spring strength of the valve spring is strong enough to pull the valve back onto it's seat and create a seal thus the lack of compression loss.
