There are a number of things that need doing, I hope you can help point out some 'mistakes' or things that need sorting in the engine bay for me. Do not know much about these cars/engines.Cheers Jon |

that red sleeving is your speedo cable, tie it back away from the manifold asap, and make sure it is plugged into the speedo drive unit which is on the right hand side of the diff casing, where the right hand long driveshaft enters.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Things jumping out at me are the fuel pipes looked to be rubber hose jubilee'd over cut plastic pipe, not ideal for 7bar of fuel pressure. Top rad hose looks like an accident waiting to happen, speedo cable on manifold, gaffer tape covering the hacked up hole in the cambelt cover for m/c clearance, purge canister still present and w**king about, zip tied on ecu box, bare wires to coil (incidentally the ones added in are probably for the tacho). These are just the easily spotted things, you've certainly got your work cut out but if it was cheap fair play. Vts and gti6 engines are nigh on identical, not even worth mentioning to be honest ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

Thank you!I am grateful for your comments. I tied that ecu up, I was trying to clean the bay up and it needs to find a full time home in the bay. Agreed, it has been done on the cheap. It has semi slick yoko's though, worth £400 and GTI brakes. It likes drum and bass though (I don't) (it's a tapper) J |

It's a gti so I hope it's got gti brakes! I'd use the head problem as a good excuse to remove the engine and go through everything. ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

Easy enough bits to tidy up You can get a banjo fitting for the top of fuel filter so you can fit 10mm fuel pipe direct to rail And the return pipe you run rubber pipe from the rail to the metal pipe coming up the bulkhead from tank. What have they done for downpipe clearance? ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |
