I'm pretty sure the answer to this will be a resounding 'no', but I thought I would ask.

Is there any way to space out the steering wheel on a 306? The lack of reach adjustment is most annoying, but I don't really want to have to put an aftermarket wheel/hub/possibly spacer on to make it more comfortable from both an airbag and money position!

I imagine what I will have to do is just suck it up, but I thought I would check to see if I was missing anything.

Thanks

Sadly, the problem seens to be freakishly long legs! So being comfortable at the pedals means a bit of a reach to the wheel.

Anyway, thanks for the replies. As I suspected...!

The only real adjustment is moving the column itself up and down, but that sadly won't move it in or out towards you.

Out of interest, how tall are you? I'm 6'2" and find the fit just fine, are you a giant? LOL

I'm 6'4", 16 stone, bald as a coot, GSOH, drink like a fish, looking for a lady for fun times...oh damn, wrong forum.

Seriously though, I'm tall and find it fine, I do have the seat in the rearmost position with the backrest reasonably vertical though.

I think the consensus is, no matter how tall you are - providing your arm lengths are in proportion to your body you should be fine.

    Fair enough.

I'm 6'2'', no nothing too wild. I prefer to drive with my legs extended quite a way, but with the wheel fairly close.

To be honest, I will find the best compromise position and just get used to it (only had the car a few weeks). I've just been spoiled by the adjustement on my last couple of cars I think. Time to man up!

should never drive with fully extended legs, can't control it properly, a must with a french car.

Sorry guys but im with Fellows.

The standard seat and steering wheel adjustment is not to my liking at all, especially the wheel reach. I have a momo to go on my 306 with a boss obviously and im hoping it brings the wheel closer to my chest so I can drop the seat back 25mm.
    Im 6'2 and slim build.

You can't expect have long legs AND give your nipples some thummage as you turn a corner.

If its a must - adapt with aftermarket options.
