Hi everybody , due to personal circumstances I have to sell a pair of re profiled cams which I currently brought from a club member. The only info I got is they are a pair of re profiled gti6 cams done by piper to ther 270 spec. They were only removed by previous owner from an engine due to upgrade to solid lifter .
But can run on standard engine

After for what I payed for them

£155

Any questions just ask and I will try and answer

I'm not sure what the finish is like on the lobes of a cam thats been reprofiled before they are used, but a used camshafts lobes should be polished like the journals are in your pics that sit in cam carriers.

Hmmm, if the discolouration was due to storage I would of expected the cam bearings to be the same.
It looks like the lobes have been parkerized (phosphated), so perhaps the cams have not been run since the reprofiling. Hey I don't know, that's just what it looks like to meDunno

Cool
