Pressure washed the engine last night, failed to start afterwards. Left it over night, car started fine, but is now mostly rubbing on 3 cylinders. Any common things I should be aware of?Cheers, Pebbles ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

take coils & plugs out, water in them. my 406 v6 did it, left them out overnight & all ok. unless you've done terminal ECU damage but doubtful________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

try wd40'ing the coilpack plugs themselves and get some compressed air on everything to blow drips out. one single blob of water on something is all it takes________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Back to running on 3. Random with no explanation. Took all sensors, inlet, airbox, coilpack, plugs and just about everything else, tested all spark plugs, and each port of the coilpack. Despite electrocuting myself massively, nothing has helped. Been at this since 5 pm Furthermore, now every time I try and start it, its failing, and squirting fuel everywhere. Seems to be coming from under in inlet manifold, but can't confirm as I'm working alone and cannot see. Please help Edit: can confirm its coming from below inlet, looks to be the fuel pressure regulator. metal pin clip isn't doing its job properly. Or I'm not fitting it correctly. I've joined 106 owners, gonna see if they can help. Bloody pugs! ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Fuel leak came after the electrocution The 3 cylinder issue was before this, each plug sparked, and each coil pack port was working. In neutral, the car is running on 3 up until around 4k when all 4 fire. In gear its present throughout the rev range seemingly. ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

I'll pass that on to the New owner Hmm.. I'm without a car again. I'm thinking 206 1.6 hdi or Clio 1.5 dci. Thoughts? Cheers, Pebbles ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Gonna save some moneys for the next year or so. Going from 25k a year to 15k with this new job has kind of messed me up a bit financially. ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

I do a fair amount of mileage, I love driving. As long as i can take me and my daughter to the seaside in relative comfort with a fair amount of briskness in a £1000 car, while saving fuel ill be happy. Both the 206 and the clio have around 100bhp I've driven both and I like them. And Adam, I had a push bike once, I f**king hated it ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Had a 306 hdi, didn't think much of it. Also it was noticeably noisier, slower and worse on fuel than both the aforementioned cars. Was a much better looker and handler though. ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |
