At 3PM you can watch the Pike Peak stream on the Peugeot website.

Loeb is due to start around 4.30 I think

It was some run but the coverage isn't too great so didn't really get a good look at it. The guy was so cool in his interview, he just knows he's the fastest out there.

Pretty much. It even took them about 15 minutes to give the time. Surely there's someone with a stop watch which gives an instant reading Dunno

The commentary was as bad as the live coverage from the helicopter.

What a run though.

There was a live timing feed!
It's a farce when even the commentators don't have access to it, coverage was pathetic.

Yeah, the coverage was a complete joke. Multinational programming though, they even had the chance to speak some French, whilst retaining the yank accent

That is f**king dull. Guess they heard him start and decided they were on the wrong side.

You see them from Loeb's view at about 45secs in on the other vid!

Was the last record set when the top half of the hill was dirt roads though? Still impressive but it's obviously going to be faster now it's tarmac all the way.

I thought about that, but from what I remember it was either tarmac it, or its no longer going to be an event.

Still though, I watched an onboard and looked cartoonishly fast on the bumper cam, and his heartrate was over 180bpm though some of it Shock

In that case that's one hell of an improvement time-wise then.

2012 was last record..... But tbh I still look at pikes peak as a dust covered track not a vertically developed nurburgring

Goes off to watch the 405 t16.....
