Look for used Eibachs, B8s dampers, 21mm torsion bars and a hybrid ARB, probably best spending money on brake and oil cooling upgrades first though.

New bushes all around. Good brake pads, new fluid, set of decent tyres.

nope, but are good, some love solid mounts some not so. I found they made the back end a bit tighter but more snappy, I prefer the feel of a slighty floaty back end on rubber mounts

Why adjustable? 99% of people have them set up wrong anyhow

Hmmmm

Well I just wanted the adjustable ones for when I set the car up properly

surely thats the advantage over the bilsteins? And I assume the gaz's are cheaper?

Cheaper but unlikely to be better when hot.

Also consider the weight distribution in the car as to what springs/bars to run. They can become very nose heavy as its easier to get weight out of the rear. I was 68% weight forward until I started removing aircon, bumper parts, arch liners, airbox, fogs and going for a fobreglass bonnet.

I'm thinking about the seats next, reducing the amount of dash, battery to rear, 21mm rear bars and bringing the ride height down a bit more. I'm just on KW v2s front, some 205 koni yellows rear and a hybrid rear arb. Nothing special but it works ok for my budget of under a grand for everything inc the car Smile

I see, different to what im used to this lot, especially with the torsion bar

I suppose il look for b8s then

I assume il just need the dampers for the rear then?

Where are they likely to pop for sake 2nd hand?

Yeah shocks and springs up front, shocks rear but you'll need to get the rear beam lowered. Best place for second hand is here and fleebay

I like how on the springs advert they say they lower the rear 30mm No No

Yes they will do you mate, personally I'd go second hand as a decent set always pops up from time to time and would leave you abit more money towards decent tyres or uprating brakes Thumbs up

Right il keep an eye out for some then, also the torsion bars.......no idea again with them is there only one on the rear? and whats the hybrid antiroll bar all about?

Il get some braided lines, discs, pads n new fluid first then, source the coilovers and then get some buckets n cage.

Get a 30mm bar, I've never been a fan of the Hybrid one, yes it means changing one of the Arm pins but the benefit is well worth it

As for the white 306, I've yet to take a look, will do next meeting and sell him some parts, I know he almost fell over when he asked if I had strut braces fitted and No was the answer

The B8's are twin tube too, so not much in it.

I'm not sure what someone else missing an apex has to do with dampers though unless you have it in HD video to check the body movements....Unsure
