So guys, after a year of owning Rich's Old beast I think the time has come to move on competely from the 306 family. Having had 3 GTi6's im tiring of spending money on them all the time and have finally owned the car I always wanted. The reason for sale is because I have a new job which loses me my van so I need a car I can drive 30miles to work everyday.

In the year of owning it:
I have added the 315mm AP brake set up.
Had both front wheel bearings changed
Changed the seats for alot better condition ones that were retrimmed around 3 years ago
Replaced both front springs on the KW V2 kit for brand new ones as one broke.
The rear brakes had been replaced for its MOT with yellowstuff pads and new discs.
The MOT has just been done so you will get a whole years MOT and 6months Tax
New rear discs protectors on the rear
New tyres on the rear
Serviced regularly with royal purple oil
Brake fluid change
Had the rust sorted on the underneath of the car

This car has had no expense spared in my ownership and in Rich's, which is a lovely example of the GTi6 with the bonus of 443bhp. It really is stupidly quick with a 0-60 of low 5s and 0-100 in 10 seconds. And flies off the speedo up to 160+

When I bought the car it had a rear beam rebuild which is still clean and all powdercoated.
It had the following at 113K / July 2011:

1. Main Bearings
2. Big-end bearings
3. Oil pump and chain
5. Timing belt kit
6. Helix cerametallic paddle clutch and standard flywheel
7. Clutch cable

So now the mods:

Super high boost so has the bigger supercharger which is tuned to 443bhp and 300+lbft torque
Full Engine rebuild with uprated parts to handle the power
315mm AP Racing big brake kit
Boost gauge
AFR Gauge
All the lightened gear that Rich makes
DTA S60 ECU with engine data logging
Engine and supercharger oil coolers
Superfinished gearbox fitted with Quaife diff
Braided brake hoses
KW V2 suspension
Rich_W's roller bearing wishbones
Skip Browns Solid rear beam mounts
21mm Torsion Bars
Hybrid ARB
CRF450 rear camber adjustment
Completely rebuilt rear beam
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 16" wheels
Front end has been de-badged and smoothed.
Colour coded bits

Theres probably loads ive forgotten so dont hesistate to ask. The car doesnt need anything done and I dont think I will sell it for much less than I paid for it so it wont be dropping to 6k or something in a few months LOL

Thanks for reading Thumbs up

Paul

Nice!!

surely you got some clips of this beast?

cause i for sure wouldnt have the slightest clue what 400+ bhp in a 306 would do performance wise ( about to find out)

This thing must be eating Porsches and ferraris for breakfast

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time

thought so! couldn't think of a more fitting place for the engine to end up than the mint Dimma.

I think its a decent outcome for sure.
Still sad that the shell and engine are parting ways.

It is sad that the car is being separated, but in the end at least the power plant will continue in another shell that is mint, so it's not all bad. Smile

No I have more sense than money as it works out cheaper to buy this car with the mods on it rather than rebuild one of my high boosts and buy all the other parts that im taking off it!

I currently own 2 high boosts and this will be the third charged car however I have already sold one of the forged engines and charger setups!

I'm not sure yet what im going to do with Rich's shell but I might put other high boost engines in it and sell it as a complete car as it "should" be a lot cleaner than the other shell, either that or sell all the parts I don't need anymore!

Keep an eye out in September as I will have lots of parts for sale including powder coated rear beam that is still in bits and a full rear beam rebuild kit (every nut bolt and washer)
