Does anyone do the above? Looking to get B8's to replace my KW's but obviously won't be able to fit my adjustable top mounts, after playing about with different ammounts of camber i am keen to have some form of adjustability with the new setup |

you'll need longer shafts if you push the balljoints out further.you could send some hubs to bridgecraft and they can alter the angle for you. Not sure if they do an adjustable variant as such though, the old Peugeot sport 205 group A hubs were as they had bored out hubs and an offset sleeve rather than just a straight bored sleeve, if you rotated it you could alter the angle. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

mei - i did consider the bridgecraft option but i would really like adjustability, in fact if i could work out my optimal camber setting i had on kw's then i suppose i could get them to machine my hubs to my spec |

Someone here was in the process of making a balljoint extension kit, can't remember who though. I'll see if I can find the thread. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

I know we've got a drawing for the touring car rose jointed BBJ setup which fits a standard arm, as mentioned though you'd need longer shafts really to be able to take advantage of them. You'd get away with a bit of adjustment but you'd have to check your driveshaft plunge carefully. What's stopping you fitting a b8 insert into a 205 bilstien coilovers body? That way you can keep your top mounts. Al ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

midlife wrote: I've got these..... Guess I could be persuaded to part with them That's what I was thinking of... Not adjustable no, but will increase the track as you seem to desire. On a side note, Wayne why don't you sell them? I've pointed it out before that they're not compatible with the 330mm Brembo kit. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

As the title suggests the op is after adjustability not necessarily an increase in track.________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

They aren't adjustable like you say but my idea was to elongate the holes to give adjustment, sus out how far they need to be moved to get the correct amount of camber then make up some bits to fit either side of the bolts in the slots to fix them solid.I need to mock this up to see of it clears the 330mm rotors, I know the roll centre adjustment blocks from Bridgecraft won't fit with 330's ________________________________________ Get used to seeing the yellow one !!!Team 330™ Team "no front end or engine" Team "LIMITED EDITION" I live for the 306 sticker Team 0-60 in 6.44 & standing qtr in 14.808 @ 94.55mph all with std engine 203bhp Corolla T-Sport daily driver stealthier than Kwai Chang Caine |

some interesting ideas there chaps, next thing is the driveshafts. how far can we go using the above methods before longer shafts are required? If only coilovers had a much softer setting, there would be none of this malarky |

i believe 406 shafts are 10mm longer than 306 shafts, that would match up nicely with these ball joints as they are 10mm longer than std...________________________________________ Get used to seeing the yellow one !!!Team 330™ Team "no front end or engine" Team "LIMITED EDITION" I live for the 306 sticker Team 0-60 in 6.44 & standing qtr in 14.808 @ 94.55mph all with std engine 203bhp Corolla T-Sport daily driver stealthier than Kwai Chang Caine |

how accurate is your info mate? if its as simple as fitting them straight on with your joints then i may take them. What about replacement bearings? can't see these lasting too long on our roads. Also if they are 10mm longer, what camber do they give? |
