So this is my second time of owning this car, just so much fun and very reliable.

This won't be for sale until end of July so this is just Gauging interest for now.
Those of you who have seen the car or been a passenger can vouch for it being pretty quick and very agile.

II bought it back in August 2012 as a 1.3 Skip Brown Roadspeed. (check my blog for a detailed story of what I've done since).

It's now 16v with a lot of mods that, together, make this an absolute riot to drive.

Mot Oct 2013
Tax July 2013 but can tax 6m for new owner
1994 cherry red
147,000 miles on shell, no rust
91k miles on engine
53k miles on gearbox
Full service on 16.6.13

1.6 16v TU5J4 1998 Vts single plug with two pronged head from the crossover model. Slight advance on inlet cam, retard on exhaust.
New Valeo Clutch kit & release bearing (700miles)
polished throttle body
Orange banded injectors
Heatwrapped Raceland 4-2-1 manifold with thermotec exhaust wrap coating/sealant
Raceland enclosed induction kit with Green cotton filter
2" GrpN PeugeotSport System decat
New cambelt kit, idler, tensioner & waterpump
New headgasket
Slimline fan
uprated fuel filter
Unlocked single plug Ecu
stainless steel cam cover bolts, exhaust manifold bolts and throttle body bolts.
Professionally converted engine loom.

transmission-
Peugeot Sports ratio gearset + Vts final drive
New gearbox oil
Newish driveshafts
Satchshift gear linkage mechanism

Suspension-
Custom Skip Brown 155lb Roadsport Front Springs -30mm (essentially the same as B8s with Faulkner springs).
fully adjustable Avo Dampers front and rear
Newish top mounts and bearings
Newish droplinks & track rod ends
Standard Rear TBs/ARB
Rebuilt rear beam using OE parts. No Play
polybushed rear beam, anti roll bar bushes and wishbones
new front wheel bearings
Omp lower strut brace
No rust at all, all been welded, cut out re welded with re enforcing plates, sealed and resprayed. Solid shell!

Brakes-
266mm Lucas calipers (306 hdi)
Braided lines front
New copper rear brake lines
saxo Vts Brake servo- 1.5inches bigger than Rallye
New front discs and pads

Interior -
Full 12 point Safety devices roll cage professionally installed
300mm steering wheel new in January
2x cobra Monaco bucket seats
2x red secureon 4 point harnesses
Fully stripped out interior

Good points - massive amount of history, most work incl conversion carried out in the last 6months. Very tight and fun to drive and due to weight it really does go well.
Driven with respect and always allowed to warm up and cool down properly. Oil comes out as clean as it goes in, doesn't use oil or water, doesn't run lumpy or funny in any way. It's the best 16v I ever had in any car, and revs very eager in ever gear.
Pulls on Renaultsport Clios, CTRs and 6s :-)

Bad bits-
Bodywork. There are bits of lacquer peel on rear bumper, dent in passenger door, dent know roof near aerial. Stone chips on front bumper and, well, bonnet isn't the right colour but I like it. I it will never be a show car but it is all about the smiles per miles and it certainly delivers in that department.
No interior means it's loud!

I will be after £1700 ovno.

I will not sell it for peanuts and it's worth that all day long with the HUGE amount of history(9k+ just from Skip Brown Cars alone) recent work done and overall mechanical conditions.

Pm me for more info or specific pics.
Amin

Here are the most recent pics taken today and some from the last few week.
I have pics from the rear beam build to the conversion and all the welding done so just ask and I'll Pm them over.

Afraid not mate, that engine was a little riot. It's now in Steve Myers' rally car and still going strong.

Nothing on track until end of the month but can upload a video of a blast down a private road.

As for the rest of you, thought you'd be used to this by nowLOL
Its time I try out this vtec phenomenon.

Why don't you just rent or borrow cars to use instead of buying and selling them all the time? Surely it would save on the time, effort and paperwork?

I'll have to get you a video tomorrow Nick, my phone ran out of battery while filming. I'll pop up one of standing acceleration and one round some twisties. It handles very well.

Just a quick video of a brief blast of the warm car.
I gave it a little go again at 1.40 when a mate in a 205 Gti came up a bit close.
The rattling noise is from the metal harness clips by the way.

Shame you can't hear the pops and bangs from the clip.

It's quite hard to get a sense of grip or speed in the video but still, goes well enough. Any good image hosting websites? My photobucket has used it's monthly bandwidth, again!

Thanks. It's a great little package, gives me that exciting buzz. It's the kind of car that I jump in when I'm bored or can't sleep and puts a smile on my face.

d let it go earlier. The only reason I said not till next month is because my insurance won't let me switch vehicles for another month because I've had 5 changes in 6months. Love
I would sell it though as that would give me time to find a replacement.

Pm me if you'd like to take a look and a drive in it sometime.
Amin

The Rallye got picked up by Nick this evening, will miss it, that's for sure but at least it's still in the club and has gone to a good home.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I have. Have fun through Dartford tunnel!
